Strengths 

Expertise in library and information management, strategic planning and teamwork in academic libraries. Extensive experience in library and information learning facilitation, including content creation of web-based courses. Doctoral and Master’s Degree thesis and a portion of my publications focus on the role of information in socio-economic development, information literacy and management. Excellent organizational, and written and oral communication skills.  Exposure to hundreds of library venues in nearly than 60 countries as part of professional travel.

ŸCoordinate the statewide UV Virtual Library.  Selected, acquired and implemented the largest library software infrastructure for virtual information services in Mexico,  offering the first virtual reference service and federated search in Mexico and Latin America

ŸDirected work of the library system to create the best facilities, user education and electronic services in Northwestern Mexico, 1995-2002
